Fiona Hodkin joins Moulton College bringing years of practical experience gained in the food and drink industry and education sectors. She is now working with local employers who pay the apprenticeship levy to help them allocate their funds effectively and build their talent for the future.
Fiona, who has previously worked at a national level for Whitbread, Golden Wonder and Britvic Soft Drinks, commented: “This is a very exciting time for the college as well as for our many local food and drink manufacturers.
“With Moulton’s new Food and Drink Innovation Centre taking FE students from September 2018, I have been contacting manufacturing employers to tell them about the new Food and Drink Process Operator apprenticeship standards at Levels 2 and 3, Food Industry Technical Degrees and Baking at Levels 2 and 3.
“The food and drink, housing and town planning sectors are all growth areas for apprenticeships; we can help employers in these – as well as more traditional areas such as construction – grow and retain their staff through ongoing professional development and skills advancement.
“So if you are a levy payer in any business sector and would like some more support around allocating your levy funds, or want more information about any of our apprenticeship provision, please do not hesitate to contact me.
