Higher Education Lecturer - Sports Studies
Salary; £24,271.00 - £30,263.00  per annum

 

Sport has been offered as an academic discipline at Moulton since 2000. The College has responded to the enormous growth in students attending the range of sports courses by heavily investing in new state of the art facilities that include a state-of-the-art sports science lab and sports therapy clinic. We are looking for an individual to join our team delivering on Sports Therapy, Performance and Coaching and Strength & Conditioning.

 

Our strong links with industry are reflected in partnerships with Northampton Saints, Northampton County Cricket Club, Northampton Town Football Club, Kettering Town Football Club and Northants Schools Basketball Association facilitating the establishment of a range of sports academies which allow students to pursue their interest in a particular sport whilst obtaining a formal qualification.

 

Applicants will hold a degree or PhD qualification in a sports therapy related discipline with sound administrative and organisational skills. A relevant teaching qualification and/or industrial experience will be an advantage in addition to a Level 3 qualification in Maths and English Language. Previous experience of teaching at Higher Education level would also be advantageous.
