Salary Band ‘A2’:£24,030.00 - £30,764.00 per annum (including allowances)

The College’s Animal Welfare facilities at the Moulton Campus encompass a purpose built Animal Welfare Centre, an Animal Therapy Centre housing grooming and canine hydrotherapy units and an on-site commercial veterinary practice.  Students studying Animal Management programmes are also taught on the College estate and are given the opportunity to be involved with milking and lambing as well as the chance to work with horses on the equine facilities.

With our courses proving as popular as ever, we are looking to enhance our in house team further by recruiting innovative, experienced and self-motivated individuals, ideally with teaching experience, to join our team and make a significant contribution to an already high performing team of staff delivering a range of courses from entry to post-graduate degree level.

The College has made continuous and substantial investments in resources and this is an exciting opportunity to work in an expanding subject area during the next phase of its development.

Applicants will hold graduate or equivalent level qualifications in an Animal related discipline together with sound administrative and organisational skills. Ideally you will also hold a relevant teaching qualification and have experience of course management. Sound industrial experience will also be an advantage. Development and support is available to further enhance your teaching skills through our in house development team. Applicants with a background in ecology and conservation are also welcomed. You will have a good grasp of current educational initiatives and have a creative and innovative approach to the development of teaching materials.
