BTEC Introductory Diploma in Sport and Leisure
Course Content
This course is designed to appeal to learners who are interested in achieving a national qualification in sport through studying aspects related to the sport and leisure industry.
A range of study methods is used including lectures, practicals and tutorials; in addition, students will undertake work experience in the industry to improve their employability levels.
Continuous assessment includes assignments, written and practical tests and work experience.
Career Opportunities
Students may progress onto the First Diploma in Sport (Performance). Alternatively they may seek employment within the sports industry.
