East Northants Academy - Higham Ferrers
East Northants Vocational Skills Academy is a purpose built facility for teaching Construction and other vocational subjects including Animal Management.
The facilities at the academy include four large teaching workshops, classrooms and a learning resource centre together with a range of catering and recreational amenities. The main construction trades include Brickwork, Carpentry, Plumbing, along with Wall and Floor Tiling. There is an Animal Welfare Centre housing a range of species appropriate to the Animal Management programmes offered at the academy. Horticulture will be a new vocational programme of study on offer at the East Northants Vocational Skills Academy from September 2010.
Also on site are a number of business incubator units: these workshops and offices provide a base for new businesses that can draw upon the College for marketing, management and administrative support.
Moulton College operates a transport network to assist students from East Northamptonshire and Northampton Town, together with parts of Bedfordshire to travel to the academy.
