Students over the age of 19 on that date may be required to pay a course fee, and the relevant registration fee associated with the qualification, unless they meet certain remission criteria. (For details please contact Student Services at the College). To assist students who are suffering financial hardship, the College administers the following Learner Support Funds, provided by the Government. Residential BursariesThe Government has made funds available to support Further Education students who need to become resident at the College, and all students wishing to take advantage of these awards must apply to the Assessment Body. Any student who has accepted a place on a full time course and indicated that they wish to become resident may apply for a bursary. For students who live outside Northamptonshire, these bursaries are only available if an equivalent course is not available at their local college. Childcare SupportLimited funds are available to subsidise the cost of childcare which is necessary to enable the student to attend College. The childcare must be provided by a registered childminder and evidence of this will be required.
