/ About Moulton College / Holdenby Education Centre

Holdenby Countryside Education Centre

The centre is run by Moulton College and is located on the beautiful Holdenby estate, which surrounds the historic Holdenby House. There are woodlands, ponds, fields and hedgerows to explore as well as the Bird of Prey Centre.

Holdenby offers a range of full day visits from Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 3. Our carefully planned programmes are linked with the National Curriculum and aim to provide both teachers and pupils with an educational and exciting experience of the countryside. Programmes aim to be flexible to fulfil your requirements.

The centre can cater for up to 40 children per visit, with a ratio of 1:7 adults to children and is open all year round. Please note that 'Nature Detectives', 'Food Chains & Falcons' and 'Teddy Bears' Picnic' are not available during the winter months of November-February.

Introductory Visits

The Schools Centre Teacher is available to visit your school to meet with staff and tell you more about the centre and school programmes. If you would like a member of the Moulton Schools Team to visit you, please contact Holdenby Countryside Education Centre.
