Horticulture

Horticulture students make use of a range of practical resources as an important part of their course.  These include the extensive college grounds which include a wide variety of tree, shrub and other plant species as well as the commercial garden centre and plant nursery. There are specialist workshops for machinery maintenance, fully equipped glasshouse and laboratory facilities to support the study of plant science and a dedicated studio for the development of computer aided design and traditional drawing skills. There are also small scale gardens and practical areas that are used by students for building garden landscape features including paths and walls.
