Moulton College is delighted to launch its new food and drink courses which will start in September 2018 at the College’s new Food and Drink Innovation Centre.
The centre, which is due to be completed next summer, will house a contemporary food technology teaching facility, professional kitchens, a large conference room, a sensory room to test products, a professional bakery and even a micro-brewery.
The new courses available are a mix of post-16, university-level and part time, along with apprenticeships. Subjects include professional bakery, health and nutrition, food science and technology, food operations, HACCP, food safety and brewing, among others.
These brand new courses have been developed as a result of a significant skills gap in the food and drink industry. This has been identifed by the region's growing number of food and drink businesses which employ over 57,000 people. Therefore, there has never been a better time to study for a food and drink qualification in Northamptonshire!
