Areas of Teaching Expertise

Livestock Production, Animal nutrition and applied animal physiology, Animal Health, Agricultural marketing and farm diversification.

Research Interests and Current Research

Edmore’s key interest is mainly in applied animal nutrition and animal production. This involves understanding the factors which affect feed composition and its subsequent effects on animal performance and health. A particular focus is development of low cost livestock rations under sustainable agricultural systems targeted mainly to smallholder farmers both in the developed and developing world.
