Animal Behaviour and Welfare.

Research Interests and Current Research

Krista's research interests centre on animal behaviour and welfare issues. Past research has included the social structure and organisation of a group of riding school horses kept under typical domesticated conditions, and aggression in donkeys, investigating whether it was related to gender or age. Krista completed her MSc in Animal Behaviour at the University of Exeter and is currently studyign towards a PhD looking into the social bonds in dairy cattle: effects of dynamic group systems on welfare and productivity.
