Research Interests and Current Research
Sam’s research interests are based in the field of animal welfare with past research focusing on zoo animals. Recent work has included the influence of stockmanship on the behaviour of black rhinoceros and the importance of human influences on the behaviour of zoo animals.
Sam is currently carrying out research towards a PhD entitled 'Welfare and production implications of fostering methods in sheep'.
