Past research has illustrated cooling to have beneficial effects prior to exercise, however attention is now being focused on cooling modalities used during exercise and also the efficiency of different cooling strategies. Selected Recent PublicationsPublication in Journal of Applied Physiology (JAP) and Journal of Athletic Training (JAT) to follow. Not yet published. 1) A comparison of two commercially available practical cooling interventions on cycling capacity in the heat. 2) The effects of torso cooling wearing an ice vest during cycling capacity exercise in a heat stress environment.
