Construction Technology, Structural Analysis & Design, IT Applications in Construction.

Research Interests and Current Research

Syed’s research interests mainly focus on adaptable buildings, product and process modelling and IT application in construction. Current research is concentrating on modelling for adaptability, product platforms/families and their application in construction. Modelling is being done using Dependency/Data Structure Matrices with the intentions to optimise product as well as process which would ultimately result in completion time reduction.
