Areas of Teaching Expertise
Animal Behaviour, Welfare, Physiology and Nutrition.
Research Interests and Current Research
Wanda’s research interests lie in the field of animal nutrition, particularly that of captive exotic species. She also has a strong background in animal behaviour. Areas of research include calcium homeostatic control in cattle, dietary iron storage problems in lemurs and behavioural comparisons of enrichment and training regimes in elephants. Other areas of interest include animal welfare and management within zoos.
