Research - Veterinary Health Studies

Domestic animals and man share a history that stretches over thousands of years. This relationship demands that humans provide for the shelter, food and care requirements of these animals in exchange for companionship, production and work.

Veterinary care takes many forms and in recent years emphasis has been placed on the value of complementary therapies in the management of animals. Research is needed to assess the value of such therapies and to establish their place within the range of more conventional veterinary treatments.

Moulton College has recently invested in a new veterinary clinic at its Holcot centre. This is run as both a general practice and specialist referral centre. It operates in partnership with the Abington Park Veterinary Practice and provides a valuable resource on site for animal health related studies.
