South Northants Vocational Skills Academy
South Northants Academy - Silverstone
The purpose built academy close to Silverstone village was opened at the beginning of 2004 and extended in 2009.
The academy provides educational programmes in the vocational areas of Construction (Brickwork, Carpentry and Plumbing),and Animal Management. Arboriculture will be a new vocational programme of study on offer at the South Northants Vocational Skills Academy from September 2010.
The facilities at the South Northants Vocational Skills Academy include fully equipped teaching workshops, classrooms, learning resource centre, IT suite, catering amenities together with a purpose built Animal Welfare Centre, housing a variety of animals.
Moulton College operates a transport network to assist students from South Northamptonshire, and parts of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire to travel to the Academy.
