Subsidiary Diploma in Animal Management
Tom has recently completed his Subsidiary Diploma in Animal Management in 2011 with an overall grade of Distinction* (D*). He is now continuing onto the second year of this programme to complete the Extended Diploma in Animal Management. Tom selected the Science stream from the three optional streams available on the Extended Diploma knowing that the modules offered may help him achieve his career goal of becoming a Veterinary Surgeon.
“This course has allowed me to combine my passion for animal welfare and my strong interest in science. I selected the science stream as I hope to combine these two elements by becoming a Veterinary Surgeon. The modules offered will help me gain the knowledge to pursue this dream. Through my course I have also undertaken a variety of work experience placements, strengthening my desire to apply for Veterinary Science at University and giving me excellent hands on experience.”
Tom is also active outside of the classroom as a keen horse rider. He is a member of the Moulton College Dressage Academy and last year took part in a trip to Spain with students studying Equine Management.
Tom is currently working hard towards achieving an overall grade of Distinction* Distinction* Distinction* (D*D*D*) on the Extended Diploma in Animal Management and applying to various universities to study Veterinary Science. We are confident that Tom will be successful in achieving this goal and look forward to seeing how he progresses in what is sure to be a very successful career.
