Shona completed the two year National Diploma in Countryside Management in July 2011 with a Distinction, Distinction, Distinction (DDD) grade overall. Shona worked hard to achieve the results she did on the course and was very thankful for all the academic support she received from the teaching team during her studies at the College.
The College provided me with a set of skills to complement my academic ability which enabled me to take on practical tasks more confidently in Countryside Management. I have taken part in activities that I never would have had the chance to had I went to Sixth Form. These ranged from Shooting and the Use of Firearms in the Land-based Sector to Hedgelaying and Seine Netting waterways to assess fish stocks. I thorough enjoyed the course, which at times was challenging, and I feel that I have really benefited by being a student at the College.
Shona was selected as a prize winner at Presentation day. She has successfully obtained a place at Harper Adams to study in a degree in Countryside Management and is looking forward to implementing both the knowledge acquired from her studies at Moulton College and the experience gained during her work experience in her studies. We wish Shona all the best in her future endeavours!
