Natalie joined Moulton College in 2008 and is now in the second year of Rural Skills. She travels from Gretton near Corby. In the first year on Rural Skills she made new friends very easily and was popular in her peer group. She worked hard throughout the year in all subjects achieving Entry 2 in literacy and Entry 1 in numeracy.She was awarded a Distinction at the end of year ceremony for her achievements.
In her 2nd year, she chose to do Agriculture as her vocational option because she loved to work with animals. She is currently completing the City & Guilds Level 1 certificate in Land based Studies. Natalie managed to find her own work placement at Lodge Farm Boarding Kennels in Gretton where she works independently one day each week and has received excellent feedback from her employers.
She has recently applied for, and been successful in obtaining a place on the Level 2 Diploma in Agriculture (formerly First Diploma).
Natalie's long term goal is to work in a kennel helping dogs that have been rescued and gain relevant qualifications at Moulton to help her in her quest.
