Pascal Del Agyei
With ambitions to hit the back of the net in professional football, school leaver Pascal joined the Level 1 Foundation Diploma in Active Sport and Leisure course because he wanted to learn about a variety of other sports too.
He said that he has really enjoyed practising all these new sports and broadening his knowledge about different activities, while the facilities at Moulton mean it is the perfect setting to develop your skills.
“The lecturers here are genuinely interested in seeing us do well,” he said. “I am now planning to move on to the Level 2 class and become involved with the college’s Football Academy, which will hopefully help me to fulfill my ambition to become a professional footballer. I’m also keen to continue with my studies as back-up though and in three years’ time hope to be undertaking Level 3 qualifications.”
Pascal added that combining study with sport has been possible thanks to the support of his lecturers and learning support assistant, as well as – crucially – the assistance of the college sports physiotherapist, who has treated his injuries and got him quickly back to the place he loves to be the most – the pitch.
