I  graduated from the Foundation Degree in Agriculture and the ‘top-up’ Degree cohort in Land Management, specialising in agriculture. My course was really practical and focussed on linking activities to the College farm, which definitely helped me to learn.

The course was well organised and passionately taught, and led me on to being selected as an intern on the prestigious Future Farming Foundation scheme run by Tesco’s. The Foundation was established to young people like me make my own start in the world of agriculture, so I could really add to the farm business at home. It opened my eyes to opportunities out there too – for example my attendance at external conferences and participation as a featured student in Farmer’s Weekly has really helped me to establish myself in farming.

I felt that I have learnt so much in my time at Moulton not only through the very skilled and dedicated staff but also by the other students that have completed the course alongside me. This has been a massive life lesson for me. The college really has a lot to be proud of, and the work at the college is second to none.

I feel that the college and agriculture would be lost without this experience and consider my tutor as not only as a mentor, but also as a friend and was thankful for all the great support. I would definitely do my time at Moulton again and have thoroughly enjoyed my period here.
