Considering a career in carpentry?

Are you considering training in a construction trade? If you have an eye for detail, good mathematical skills and the ability to follow technical plans then a career in Carpentry and Joinery could be for you.

Our courses in Carpentry and Joinery provide the skills and knowledge you will need in the industry through a range of practical and theory sessions, but why take our word for it! We asked two of our Level 2 students first hand why they enjoy studying carpentry at our Silverstone campus:

“There's excellent support provided by all tutors. They are very approachable and supportive and seem to have all the tricks of the trade to hand. As a mature student I am looking to get a job when I complete the course at the end of June. This course has given me an excellent platform in which to start. I have already recommended the carpentry course at the Silverstone campus to a friend. The course has met my expectations and really pleased that I chose to come here.” - Gareth Bevan

'The facilities at the Silverstone campus are well looked after and the campus has a nice feel to it. I have said to my brother about coming to Silverstone to do a carpentry course as I have learnt a lot from being here. I already work part-time in the trade and when I finish in the summer I will most likely go full-time. The other students are really good and there is lots of mixing here between groups.” - Joel Wooding

We also offer the course at our Daventry, Higham Ferrers and Moulton centres, so wherever you live in the county you can get your qualifcation with Moulton.

Sounds good? So what next?

If you have further questions visit one of our open days where you will be able to ask the lecturers any questions you may have, you can pre-register for our next one here. Alternatively click here to find out more about the course and apply.
