Ahead of the launch of our exciting new range of food and drink courses at Moulton College coming in September 2018, we are delighted to invite students who are currently in Year 11, or looking to start a full-time post-16 course this year to a very special ‘taster’ event with award-winning chocolatier Barry Johnson.
The two-hour session on Wednesday 18 July between 1pm-3pm will see Barry explore the chocolate-making process and offer students an insight in to the career options available to them in a thriving industry.
Barry, who originally started his career as a pastry chef became inspired by cocoa plantations in Papua New Guinea and the emerging chocolate scene in Eastern Australia to make a shift in his career. In October 2017, he was crowned as the UK Chocolate Master following an intense competition, and will shortly be competing at the World Chocolate Masters in Paris, representing the UK and Ireland against fellow chocolatiers from around the world.
Places at this event are extremely limited, and schools and individuals are advised to book their place quickly clicking here.
