TCL today announced the doubling in size of their successful apprenticeship programme. The highly respected company, which specialises in horticulture design and management services, has committed to the provision of five more apprenticeship positions on the programme which was initially set up managed and monitored effectively in conjunction with Moulton College.
Tom Bromley, one of the five current apprentices at TCL commented “I’ve learned a lot so far. I like the fact that it’s on the job training, as opposed to being in the classroom all the time. I enjoy the practical side of being an apprentice with TCL and Moulton. I feel I’m learning in the real world and getting some great experiences.”
Tony Cammiss, Managing Director of TCL confirmed “since we began taking on apprentices from Moulton College, we have noticed a positive impact for the company and its colleagues. This scheme forms the foundation of our business and is the basis from which we want to grow as a company.”
The newly listed apprenticeship allow students to work closely with sales area landscaping, grounds maintenance, fencing installation, customer care, and play area installation teams throughout the company. The apprentices will gain a working understanding of health and safety compliance, landscape preparation and all aspects of horticultural management, enabling TCL to continue delivering a great service to the company’s valued clients.
