Moulton College Equine students win at the English Vaulting Championships

On the 26th October the Moulton College Vaulting Academy travelled to the Unicorn Trust Equestrian Centre in Bucks for the English Vaulting Championships. The team made up of Further Education and Higher Education students comprised of Merryn Lynes, Sarah East (Higher Education), and Corinne Bottley, Tara Crick, Katie Betts, Emily Curtis, Ellie Martin and Beth Rice (Further Education).

The Big Bike Ride

College News

The Big Bike Ride, in aid of the Professional Cricketers Association and the Tom Maynard Trust, took place from 18-22 October 2013. Sixty-two riders started the challenge in Durham on Day 1. The aim of the Big Bike Ride was to raise £200,000 with participants pedalling from Durham cricket ground to Lords Cricket ground over 5 days.

Five Moulton Students reach final of National Contest

Five Moulton College construction trainees have won a place at the finals of the UK’s largest multi-trade competition, SkillBuild 2013. Joseph Nelson, Robert Girvan, Joshua Davis, David Williams, and Sam Brister, have already triumphed at the regional heat of SkillBuild and will compete against the other regional winners at the Skills Show, the UK’s biggest skills and careers show which takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 14-16 November.
