Sports Coaching – a family affair!

College News

Since a very young age I have been watching my Dad coach Basketball for National League level teams such as the Reading Rockets and Thames Valley Tigers and after being in that environment on a weekly basis, travelling to many areas of the UK supporting him, I now feel comfortable and confident in a sports hall full of extremely tall guys and a lot of noise!

Moulton college attend Autism Concerns youth group

College News

On 25th February and 4th March, staff from the College’s Supported Learning area and the Animal Welfare Centre attended the Autism Concerns ‘Go 4 it’ Youth Group at the Abbey Centre in Northampton and ‘Junior Go 4’ it at Kingsthorpe Grove Primary School, St. David's Road.

Equine students investigate Evolution and Darwin!

College News

Level 2 and Level 3 Horse Management students recently visited London’s Natural History Museum. The students were given educational tasks to complete whilst at the museum. The Level 2 students were asked to visit the Darwin Centre and look particularly at the evolutionary process the horse has undergone.

Higher Apprenticeship in Sustainable Built Environment at Moulton College

This year saw the start of a Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA) in Sustainable Built Environment at Moulton College. This has been developed with employers, colleges, universities and sector skills councils to bridge the skills gap and provide employers and individuals with access to work-based learning at university level.
