Research Interests and Current Research

Claire’s research interests include equine welfare, canine skull morphology, dental health and chewing patterns. Claire is currently studying towards a PhD, registered at the University of Northampton, developing a set of skull shape categories in dogs and observing the link between skull shape and dental health. She is also supervising undergraduate research projects in the area of equine health and welfare and animal anatomy and nutrition.
