Apprentices Adam Newitt and Daniel Pool were the lucky recipients of a tool kit to support them at the start of their apprenticeship career. This was made possible due to the support of Milwaukee tools who are working in partnership with the college to support the construction learners.
Lucy Wall, Assistant Trade Marketing Manager of Milwaukee tools, came into college on 3rd June to present the tool kits consisting of a drill/driver & an impact driver to two of our outstanding apprenticeship students. The students were selected by the course team as being the best placed to benefit from this gift to support their progression in their chosen trades.
Adam Newitt is a wall & floor tiling apprentice with Harlyn Enterprises. He started his training in November 2014 and is due to complete his course in the next few months. Adam has made excellent progress throughout his time at Moulton College and it is hoped that the tools will support him with his future career in wall and floor tiling.
Daniel Pool is an intermediate plumbing apprentice with Nicholas White. Daniel’s employer came into college to meet Lucy and support his apprentice. Daniel has been at college since September 2015 and is making exceptional progress on his plumbing qualification.
Kieran Nee, Editorial Assistant from Apprentice builder, came along for the presentation of the tool kits and both students will be featured in the next edition of the magazine.
Moulton College appreciates the support from industry stakeholders and through the Construction Services to Business Manager, Ian Dixon, are developing links with many external organisations. There are further projects planned with both Apprentice builder magazine and Milwaukee tools to further enhance the experience of Moulton College learners.
