Salary; £31,601.00 - £34,943.00 per annum
The Human Resources function at the College is an active business partner providing valuable advice and guidance to all areas of the College. We are now looking for a dynamic individual to join our team to provide business focused employment advice to managers and staff.
A key aspect of this role will be to drive and coordinate case work activities relating to performance management, absence management, change management, discipline and grievance matters. You will support managers to work within the parameters of College policies and procedures while promoting best practice and provide real world advice taking account of any potential challenges. You will also coach and support managers in the design of roles and recruitment of staff providing constructive challenge to deliver a positive solution. Accurate management of staff data and reporting people trends will be further aspects to the role. In addition there will be plenty of interaction with employees from all areas to promote the benefits of working at the College and support positive engagement and productivity. You will be proficient in current employment legislation and confident to discuss complex employment matters with senior and middle management
Of graduate calibre or equivalent, you will be CIPD Level 5 qualified and have previous experience in an advisory or Business Partner role. You will be committed to providing an outstanding HR service; have attention to detail; be flexible in your approach and enjoy a challenge. The current team enjoys a strong work ethic and you will enjoy working at a fast pace contributing to the positive relations we have with our stakeholders.
