Taster session

Thursday 1 June 2023, 9am - 3pm

This event is your perfect opportunity to try out life as an Animal Welfare student at Moulton College.

You will get to meet course tutors and take part in a full day of activities.

Plan for the day

  • Welcome and introduction
  • Feeding practical with some of our animals in our Animal Welfare Centre
  • Dog bandaging theory session
  • A dog practical session
  • An opportunity to ask any questions that you have about the course and studying at Moulton.

What to wear

You will need to wear sensible, flat shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. You will be outside for some of the day so you will also need wet weather gear and warm clothes, depending on the weather!

Who can attend

This event is for anyone in Year 11 who is considering studying animal welfare at the College this September but is yet to make an application. You do not need to attend this event if you have already attended an Animal Taster Event in February or April 2023.

If you have already applied to study animal welfare with us in September 2023 you will be invited to attend our Transition Events at the end of June 2023.
