England Six Nations Training Camp
The England under 20s Rugby squad are scheduled to play Italy at Franklins Gardens this Friday.
As part of the team preparations the squad have been training at Moulton College throughout the week to makes sure they are in peak condition for the match.
The coaches and players are based at the multi million pound Chris Moody Centre, the UK’s leading sports injury and rehabilitation centre. Intensive pitch work has been supplemented by weights training sessions in the Colleges strength and conditioning studio as well as hydrotherapy activity in the 25m swimming pool. The squad have been making full use of the moveable pool floor, raising the floor to various levels to vary the depth for specific exercises.
Four former Moulton College students were delighted to return to the College having made it to the England squad, Tom Stephenson, Danny Hobbs, Danny Herriott and Tom Collins are all ex Moulton rugby academy students who have created successful careers in the game having followed an academic course at the College
