In partnership with Northamptonshire County Golf Club, the Golf Academy gives students the chance to work with professional golf coaches and develop their skills to a higher level while continuing with their education.

Students on the Golf Academy will study either the Level 3 Extended Diploma or Diploma in Sport. In addition to this, students are also encouraged to gain appropriate coaching awards and gain work related opportunities in the Golf industry, and the college will also enrol hem with Northamptonshire County Golf Club as junior members, allowing them to enjoy all the benefits of being a member.

In order for you to be selected into the Golf Academy, you must first have applied or have been accepted onto a course at Moulton College. Then you will be expected to evidence your golf ability either through a trial or through submitting a handicap of ideally below 15. If you are successful in receiving an offer for the Golf Academy you will need to pay £100 membership to our academy. This cost will give you access to the following:

  • Moulton College Training Kit, which includes 2 x training tops, 2x shorts, 1 x training hoodie
  • Two weekly sessions with PGA Professionals, covering skill and technical development
  • Individual online lesson diaries to share with home coaches and parents
  • One fitness session per week, supervised by a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach
  • A Personalised Fitness Training Programme
  • Access to massage clinic/corrective exercise sessions
  • Eligibility and costs for participation on two college golf tours – The Intercollegiate Tour and British Schools Colleges Tour
  • Transport to fixtures 
  • 1 free use of the cryotherapy chamber at the Chris Moody Centre
  • Discounted prices on the Sports Injury Clinic
