Student Support

Student Support is a team of professionals who are here to help and support all students.

The team are based in the College Social Centre and we encourage students to come along and speak with a member of the team if they require any assistance.

The Wellbeing Service is part of the Student Support offer and provides confidential one to one support to students in a quiet and safe environment. Students can self-refer and an initial assessment will be undertaken to determine the most appropriate support to meet individual needs. This may include support being provided by one of our Counsellors.

The Nurses provide general health advice, sexual health advice, stop smoking support and referrals to specialist services.

The College’s Lay Chaplain also works from Moulton Parish Church and helps students to think about the big questions in life, especially God and religion.

The Sports Maker is responsible for getting students involved in extra-curricular physical activity. There is a timetable of activities in place and students are also encouraged to approach the Sports Maker with any ideas they have for new activities.
The College takes it safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and works in partnership with organisations such as the Local Authority to ensure that students are safe and supported. The team also works closely with a range of external organisation and organisations to support students, such as those who are looked after children, care leavers or young carers.

Any student who feels that they are at risk is encouraged to speak to their course tutor or the Student Support Team.
