Applied Zoopharmacognosy? What is it?

Second year Equine students  at Moulton College had an informative and interactive talk by Leanne Wrentmore from ‘Naturally Animals’. Students learnt about how animals can naturally select herbs for medicinal and health purposes. They took part in a practical test to find out what imbalances they may have and are now looking forward to practising zoopharmacognosy with the horses at college after Easter. Jessica Cook said, ‘The talk was excellent, I learnt so much about horses’ diets and how zoopharmacognosy can help with rehabilitation’.
