Moulton College Level 2 Personal Training student Jordan Albert continues to have success both in and out of the classroom. Currently racing in Formula 4 he recently achieved his first double podium finish in this year’s championship.
Chipping Norton’s SWR Caterham F1 Driver Development Programme Team celebrated a brace of podium results for teenager Jordan Albert during the opening event of the BRDC Formula 4 Winter Championship at a rain-hit Snetterton 300 Circuit over the weekend 8th/9th November.
Racing to top three finishes in rounds two and four of the eight-race campaign, it could so easily have been a hat-trick of podiums for Albert but an unfortunate excursion while running in third place in round three proved costly. Ending the weekend sixth in the points standings, had the 18-year-old converted a top three result in race three he would have been third in the championship.
A fantastic achievement by Jordan and we are more than happy to support him in combining his academic studies with his Formula 4 career. Jordan is learning the different aspects of personal training and gym instruction and is able to apply some of these to his training for his Formula 4 races.
Rounds five to eight of the BRDC Formula 4 Winter Championship will take place a fortnight from now, over the weekend 22nd/23rd November, at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit in Kent and we wish Jordan well.
