Ellie Robinson of Northampton Swimming Club, won gold in the women's S6 50m butterfly at the Paralympics in Rio on Friday 9th September 2016 aged just 15 years old. Her swim time of 35.58 seconds was a new record at the 15th Paralympic Games.
Ellie finished just outside the medals in fourth place in the 400m freestyle final on 13th September in a new personal best of 5.27.53.
In the run up to the Paralympics Ellie trained at the Moulton Sports Therapy and Injury Rehabilitiation Centre.
