Moulton College has announced the appointment of Alicia Bruce as its new Chief Finance Officer. Alicia brings 20 years of accounting experience, a fresh outlook and bags of enthusiasm to the role.
She has previously held finance and audit roles in both the public and private sectors including Northampton Partnership Homes Ltd, Olympus Care Ltd and Northampton County Council (among others).
Alicia said: “I’m delighted to start my new position at Moulton College. I have experience of delivering strong financial management and leadership across a variety of organisations and I relish the opportunity to utilise my commercial experience to really make a difference to the lives of Moulton students.”
Alicia, who was fully qualified by the age of 24 after training at Grant Thornton, will not only manage the college’s Finance Team, but also oversee the IT, Management Information and Commercial Enterprise departments.
Gerald Davies, Deputy Principal at Moulton College, commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Alicia to the team. The role will really help the college to ensure that it is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible across all of these important areas.”
Alicia concluded: “It’s an exciting time to be part of such a progressive educational institution that is going through a period of growth. The college’s new Food and Drink Innovation Centre, which is set to open in summer 2018, brings a wealth of opportunities for the college that I am looking forward to being a part of.”
