Moulton College has re-opened its Sports Injury Clinic at The Chris Moody Centre, which gives university-level Sports Therapy students valuable experience in offering injury rehabilitation and sports massages to students, staff and the local communities.
Whether patients require a structured rehabilitation programme or a one-off treatment for a minor injury, the Moulton College Sports Injury Clinic offers a wide range of treatments – including sport and relaxation massages, electrotherapy and taping or strapping.
This sports injury clinic is staffed by Moulton College FdSc and BSc Sports Therapy students and all sessions are overseen by Moulton College’s professionally qualified staff, bringing with them a wealth of both national and international experience and accreditation.
All consultations last for 60 minutes and are priced at just £5.00. Appointments must be booked and paid for in advance by clicking here.
Kris Mac Mahon, HE Sports Studies lecturer said: “We are delighted to re-open our Sports Injury Clinic on Wednesday afternoons from November. Ensuring that our students get to experience real-life working situations is a key part of our degree courses at Moulton College and these clinics offer that, while also allowing members of the public to receive high quality injury treatment at an affordable price.”
