British Gymnastics national governing body Technical Committee convened to discuss the rule changes for rhythmic gymnastics, which have been subject to change following the 2012 Olympics. The rules and regulations have an effect upon every club worldwide, which was demonstrated by coaches travelling from all over the UK for this significant meeting.
The rule changes are particularly important for Moulton College’s resident club, Billing Rhythmic Gymnastics, as they are planning for their first big competition of 2013 in March which will incorporate these new rules. The Billing Rhythmic Gymnastics club train at Moulton College on Tuesday evenings between 5.30-8pm. Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines the elegance and artistry of ballet with the finesse and flexibility of gymnastics in a routine that is accompanied to music.
