Secretary of State visits Moulton College

Moulton College welcomed the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Owen Patterson who visited the College with conservative MP for Daventry Chris Heaton-Harris on Friday 12th July 2013.   

During his visit Mr Patterson toured the outstanding facilities, and witnessed how the College has diversified its education business into a range of successful commercial enterprises.  Principal Steve Davies said “these facilities provide valuable training and education opportunities for young people and adults to develop vital work related skills, whilst studying a vocational qualification, alongside maths and English functional skills.

Steve pointed out to Mr Patterson that “these are all vital ingredients for success in the workplace and Moulton is best placed to develop future talent for the environment  and rural based industries.”
