Veterinary Health Studies

The long-established relationship between animals and man demands that we, as humans, provide shelter, food and care in return for the companionship, production and work of the animals.

As a result, veterinary care has progressed from simply being about treating medical conditions and now covers a wide range of areas including complementary therapies and treatments. Up-to-date research is vital in assessing the value of these recent developments and to establish their place in the range of veterinary practice.

With recent investment made in our new veterinary clinic at Holcot – operated as both a general practice and specialist referral centre – the college works in partnership with Abington Park Veterinary Practice to provide the facilities, resources and expertise required to contribute to animal health-related studies.
