Director of IT and Digital Transformation

The Director of IT and Digital Transformation role is a newly created position which is critical to realising the strategic goals of the College through accelerating innovation in application of digital technology.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing and ambitious College committed to applying technology in a way that transforms the life chances of students, drives forward performance; delivers efficiencies and has a tangible impact on the communities we serve.

We are on an ambitious digital journey and you will play a lead role in developing an integrated Digital Strategy that supports the College’s strategic plan, develops digital capability and delivers the transformational change required to ensure high quality education and skills development leading to talented, committed industry focused and career ready students.

You will be a highly capable digital transformational leader who will be able to form effective cross College relationships with a wide range of different people and stakeholders at all levels, you will have a proven ability to combine strategic thinking with the practical implementation and delivery.

You will be passionate and forward thinking and have extensive knowledge of the contemporary digital landscapes and experience of bringing leading edge technology and process optimisation practices that drive sustainable improvements in business performance.

You will be a proven innovator with a sophisticated understanding of digital and technology solutions and a successful track record of driving strategy and delivering programmes from design through to implementation.

The right person will be a hands-on leader, ideally in an education setting, one that will own and deliver the IT strategy and plans, inspire the IT team and the business to live values and bring new ideas to the table to further College objectives.
