Lecturer – Floristry

Moulton College now seek an experienced Florist or Floristry Lecturer to join our team of staff delivering Floristry courses from schools and entry level, to degree and post-graduate qualifications.

Floristry Lecturers at Moulton will teach theory and practical teaching of students, including 16-18 and adult learners. Course manage more than 1 group of students while recruiting new students. Key elements of this role are completing assessing and IV’ing, ordering and maintaining flower stock and other resources, our lectures must also committed to developing the curriculum.

Applicants will preferably be graduates and hold relevant specialist qualifications together with relevant teaching and/or industrial experience. You will have grade C or above in GCSE Math’s and English Language (or equivalent). Ideally you will also hold an Assessor/Verifier qualification and will be required to deliver Floristry, Floral Art and experience with design techniques in floristry would be a distinct advantage. Theory and practical delivery will be a requirement of this role.

A full teacher education programme is available in house to support individuals to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
