MIS Compliance & Audit Officer

We are currently looking for a highly competent, detail orientated individual to join our Management Information Systems (MIS) team. You will work in a core function of our business to ensure our tracking of student data and funding submissions meet the requirements of our funding partners.

This will include the drafting and maintenance of all processes relating to the 16 – 19 and Adult funding provision, focussing on audit requirements. You will monitor monthly funding reports to identify and resolve any errors to ensure income is received as expected. You will use funding body software to interrogate our data and ensure we can clearly evidence our claims. You will be a main point of contact to review Adult remission claims and carry out regular audits of the data to provide assurance and maintain an audit ready position. Additionally you will monitor college performance against agreed KPI’s providing updates and proposing actions as required.

You will have a minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent) and may also a degree or higher management related qualification. You will have experience of monitoring business processes and reporting on progress while highlighting and taking action to address anomalies. You will enjoy working with large volumes of data and writing reports to highlight key trends and information to a range of stakeholders. You will be able to grasp and develop key workflows and be able to implement processes for others to follow to achieve deadlines and accurate outcomes.
