Our Floristry students have access to an exciting range of specialist resources at the College. Our Floristry workshops are fitted with industry-standard cold storage, display areas and photography areas. You will take advantage of our ornamental grounds containing a wide range of fauna.

Guided by our specialist staff and expert guest lecturers you’ll learn fundamental skills to create artistic displays and develop a detailed understanding of the industry. As part of your course you will have the opportunity to take part in industry competitions where you will learn and develop practical skills that will be vital for your future in floristry.

Guided by our expert lecturers you will learn the basics of floral design and arrangements. Through theoretical and practical learning you will identify common pests and diseases, and correctly recognise a wide range of flowers and create beautifully planted designs.

After achieving Level 1, you could progress to Level 2 studies or an apprenticeship. Alternatively, you could go on to be a floristry assistant or floristry shop worker.
