The governing body of a College has a key role to play in steering the College forwards, maintaining quality standards and ensuring that it is delivering against its strategic objectives. By becoming a Governor you can bring your expertise directly into the management and strategic direction of the College.
Moulton College Corporation is recruiting motivated volunteers who are passionate about education, skills and growing futures to join our governing body.
Governors are at the heart of how our College operates. They are responsible for determining what education and training our College will provide and the strategy for delivering it. They lead the drive for improved standards in both teaching and learning and financial security.
They challenge areas for improvement.
What skills or experience are we looking for?
We are very keen to welcome people from all backgrounds and identities and we encourage applications from all suitably qualified or experienced individuals. Experience in governance is not essential, training and mentoring can be provided.
Most important is a passion and commitment to developing a robust long-term strategy that positions Moulton College as a destination of choice, with the financial rigour to support the College's growth, providing an excellent student experience.
