The art of stonemasonry has existed for centuries and has developed to produce some of the world’s most iconic buildings and architectural wonders. Our Level 2 Diploma in Stonemasonry will develop your skills and begin to introduce technical skills including letter cutting.
As a stonemasonry student you will have access to an exciting range of specialist resources at the College. You will use our unique workshop equipped with state-of-the-art tools and facilities to develop a range of skills in stone carving, letter cutting, conservation, restoration and construction.
As part of your course you will have the opportunity to undertake commercial experience at the beautiful and historic Exeter Cathedral, where you will learn and develop practical skills that will be vital for your future career in Stonemasonry.
This course is free for students aged 16 – 19. For students over 19, The Worshipful Company of Masons funds the majority of the course fees on application. Find out more about this funding here.
