The Cricket Academy at Moulton College offers students the opportunity to develop their cricket skills through training, coaching and match play alongside their studies.
The academy is suitable for students who want to improve their performance and gain experience in a structured environment.
Our partnership with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club
As a member of our Cricket Academy, you will benefit from our strong partnership with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. Alongside representing Moulton College, you will train in a professional environment at The County Ground, gaining valuable experience and insight into the game at a higher level.

- Individual player development plans

Alongside your studies, you will benefit from valuable work experience opportunities and build industry links to support your future career in cricket, coaching, sport development, and the wider sports industry.
Students also have the opportunity to gain nationally recognised coaching qualifications, including:
- ECB Coaching Assistant (UKCC Level 1)

Students have the opportunity to represent Moulton College in a competitive programme of fixtures and tournaments throughout the season. Competing against other colleges, sixth forms and academy programmes through AoC Sport, players gain valuable experience in both regional and national competitions.

- Regular fixtures against strong opposition
- Regional and national AoC Sport competitions

- Leadership and team development opportunities
- Links to club and county cricket pathways
Our competitive programme is designed to develop confident, resilient players and support progression into club, county, university and recreational cricket.
