Becky is currently studying Level 2 Floristry at Moulton College and completed her work placement at Flower and Farmer, where she has now been offered a permanent position.
Although she had always loved working with plants and flowers, Becky didn’t have any formal horticultural training. She first discovered Flower and Farmer four years ago but lacked the experience needed to apply. That’s when she decided to take a new step and enrol at Moulton College.
“I’ve always been into horticulture, and I grow my own flowers at my allotment – so floristry just felt like the natural path.”
Through her placement, Becky gained hands-on experience and confidence in the field she’s passionate about.
“It’s just lovely working with flowers all day, every day. I love the physicality of it, being outside, and I’ve learnt so much.”
Her hard work paid off – she’s now part of the team at Flower and Farmer, turning her passion into a career.
